It’s Cover Songs Friday, yes, but I wanted to take a second to shamelessly promote a band that does not perform cover songs (mostly; the band apparently has a Heart cover out there in ether that I would quite enjoy hearing).
Local rockers Fighting Zero have a new album out, and it’s available for free download here. It’s rare that I can find a local band that I can enthusiastically recommend (because, let’s face it, most of them are cover bands of questionable quality), but these guys are the best local band I’ve heard in awhile.
