One of the reasons – heck, probably the main reason – that I do Friday Cover Songs each week is to give something back to you for reading my rambling nonsense. It’s a way for me to share the stuff I love with you.
What I’m doing today – asking for requests – is an outgrowth of that. I’ve been selfishly blogging my favorite cover songs of the week, but every once in awhile, I’d like to know what you’re into right now or what you would like me to post. Any artists I’m neglecting? Any no-brainer themes that I’ve missed?
Tonight, I’ll post any request that I get in the next few hours. Any that come in after that will be saved for next week.
And if I don’t get any feedback (and shame on you for that)…well, I finally found the Decemberists covering “Crazy On You.”
