Today, I thought about a mix of nothing but songs from horror movie soundtracks, but really, there’s not a lot of merit to most horror movie soundtracks. But since I do love the horror genre, the idea of a murderous mixtape appealed to me.

what, no cannibal corpse? ‘murder by numbers’ by the police? :)
I avoided death metal. That would have made it too easy (and I don’t think I own any Cannibal Corpse).
Murder By Numbers made the long list, but I cut it when I pared this down to mixtape length. I think I assumed everyone would expect me to put it there, and thus, being a contrarian, I didn’t. (Psycho Killer was the notable exception to this rule. I love Psycho Killer.)
