So, I have noticed that posts about my personal life get more comments than the other stuff I blog about. Consider this shameless pandering to that discovery.
The impetus for this was, like with most things that get stuck in my head, a snide remark. I interrupted a friend in the midst of an anecdote to ask, facetiously, if the girl in the story was cute, and was rewarded with, and I’m paraphrasing here, “Maybe you’d do better if you focused on ‘nice.’” Which is true. But that led to me joking that I’d add it to the list, which led to the creation of a spreadsheet, which included a column for “# of dates before spreadsheet revealed to girl” and most of the questions that appear in the survey. At least I think that’s how it went. There was pizza, and pizza distracts me sometimes.

Oh, wait!! Is it “ironic” that I feel like I failed this survey even though it’s not a test?
Should I fill this out or send it to all my single friends?
I took your silly quiz. Now what?
Alejandra: Yes. Yes it is.
Sarah: The latter. Don’t skew my numbers.
Erin: It isn’t silly. It’s highly scientific. And it’s not a quiz. It’s a survey.
Interestingly, none of the respondents so far like Tyler Perry films very much.
Did you at least like my definition of “irony”?
Absolutely. Though I suspect you IMDB’d it.
Another interesting stat: Nobody has self-selected Nice or Sane, though basically everybody is Cute. This says something about me. I’m not sure exactly what.
I find this quiz incredibly sexist. As such, I had my wife answer all the questions. Hey, she has good taste, so she’s bound to get rid of me sooner or later. Now you’ll know whether or not to pursue her when she’s single.
Should I forward this on to Kelly?
I think you may have a future in starting an online dating service, Jeff.
Is it “ironic” that in the survey I answered that I didn’t know what Irony was, yet I was able to identify an “ironic” situation?
