Salt is so well-made that you won’t realize how much sense it doesn’t make until about an hour after it’s over. This is, in part, because it’s amazingly fun and jam packed with stunningly orchestrated stunts and chases. It is also yet another case of a movie being elevated by having a cast (Angelina Jolie, Liev Schrieber, Chiwitel Ejiofor) that manages to elevate goofy material.

I agree. However, I did go to see it because I wanted to watch a) Angelina Jolie and b) a Jolie movie where she kicked ass. Which Salt accomplished this, so I was pretty happy with that when I stepped out of the theater. Even if the movie made almost no sense. I really thought it was someone’s Black Widow script, which got rejected so they kind of re-wrote it.
