True Story: Gail Simone is literally the only one of my comics heroes that I’ve had the good fortune to meet and speak to briefly where I’ve been completely able to compose myself and just was a total Chris-Farley-Show-style fanboy. It was unfortunate, and yet still awesome.

I think this excerpt from a follow-up post is worth noting:
